When you buy a SkiePhone, you are buying a hardware device and a software service from two different entities. Each has its own warranty.
Hardware Warranty
Provided by the OEM (Samsung, OnePlus, Realme, or other manufacturer). Knowphone is not involved in hardware warranty claims.
SkieOS Software Warranty
Provided by Knowphone Technology Solutions Private Limited. Covers the SkieOS software, caregiver dashboard, and MDM functionality.
Knowphone Technology Solutions Private Limited is a software and MDM services company. We pre-load our SkieOS software onto Android smartphones manufactured by leading OEMs and sell them to you as SkiePhone.
We are not the manufacturer, assembler, or hardware service provider. We do not repair hardware, replace screens, fix batteries, or process manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf.
Think of us the way you would a company that sells a pre-configured laptop: we are responsible for the software configuration, not the physical device. The hardware company is responsible for the hardware.
The smartphone included with your SkiePhone comes with the OEM's standard manufacturer warranty. Coverage details vary by manufacturer but typically include the following.
Coverage period: typically 12 months from the date of purchase. Check the OEM warranty card included in your box for exact terms.
Samsung
Visit a Samsung authorised service centre in India. Find your nearest centre at samsung.com/in/support or call 1800-40-SAMSUNG (1800-40-7267864). Your Samsung warranty card is included in the box.

Contact information for additional OEM partners will be listed here as new devices are added to the SkiePhone programme.
Knowphone warrants that the SkieOS software and caregiver dashboard will function as described during your active subscription period.
SkiePhone devices provisioned through the Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment programme benefit from Knox-level security attestation for device provisioning and enrollment. Knox-related functionality is covered under Knowphone's software warranty to the extent it is within Knowphone's control. Samsung Knox infrastructure itself is subject to Samsung's own terms.
If you wish to use your SkiePhone as a standard Android smartphone without SkieOS, you can request Device Owner removal at any time. This is a free service and does not require an active subscription.
To request device unmanagement, email contact@knowphone.in with your order number and the Android ID or IMEI of the device. We will remove Device Owner status within 48 hours and confirm by email.
Note: If you need the device unmanaged to access OEM warranty service at a service centre, please let us know and we will prioritise your request.
