Every SkiePhone order includes:
The smartphone hardware is manufactured by the respective Original Equipment Manufacturer. Knowphone is the SkieOS software provider, not the hardware manufacturer.
The physical device is a one-time purchase. This is a standard retail sale of a smartphone. Price displayed at checkout includes the cost of the hardware.
SkieOS parental controls require an active annual subscription. INR 1,999 plus GST per device per year for India. USD 25 plus taxes per device per year for international orders. Subscription details are covered in the Terms of Service.
If you have not opened the box, you may return your SkiePhone within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund of the hardware purchase price.

Once the box has been opened, the device is not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances, including change of mind, dissatisfaction with features, or device performance concerns.
This policy exists because SkiePhone is a pre-configured managed device. Once opened and activated, the device has been provisioned specifically for your child's account.
For all hardware issues including manufacturing defects, screen problems, battery concerns, and physical faults, you must contact the OEM directly. Knowphone is not the hardware manufacturer and does not handle hardware repairs or replacements.
Your device comes with the OEM's standard manufacturer warranty. To make a hardware warranty claim:

If your device arrives damaged in transit or you receive an incorrect item:
The SkieOS annual subscription fee is non-refundable once the subscription has been activated, regardless of how much of the subscription period remains.
If you cancel your subscription mid-year, the SkieOS service will remain active until the end of the current billing period and the device will be unmanaged thereafter. No partial refund is issued for the remaining subscription days.
